PM Modi went to Russia to attend annual summit talks with a particular focus on stepping up cooperation in defence and nuclear energy besides facilitating Indian companies’ participation in Russia’s oil and gas sector. He also attended “Friends of India” event in Moscow. There, he was surprised to listen to the Russian Pop singer Sati Kazanova reciting Sanskrit mantras.(Watch the video).
Sati Kazanova was born in a Muslim family and went out to become one of the top pop singers in Russia. She met Modi Ji and shared her feelings & love towards Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) and wants to see a huge Hindu Temple in Russia. As per wikipedia, she is a vegetarian and practices Yoga.
It is great to hear that people of Russia are also inspired by Indian Culture, isn’t it?
