Sadhashiva said, “O beloved Devi ! I shall tell you the most powerful and highly guarded secret, a panacea for all seekers of the truth, the holiest and most endearing knowledge known as “Sri Rama Hridayam”.
Rudra continued, “One who constantly Reflects (Manana) on this exposition and devotes even a few minutes of his day Holding in Meditation (Dharana) Sri Rama Hridayam is assured of liberation from sufferings and is sure to achieve total freedom. Even the outcaste, the confirmed sinner or a complete fiend, irrespective of one’s social or moral standing can practice this Mantra Meditation; this great Mantra will open up unimaginable possibilities to the devout. One who worships Sri Rama through Sri Rama Hridayam is guaranteed alleviation from ordinariness and achievement of the divine status that is difficult to achieve even for the greatest of Rishis.”
We have seen how Sita Maata (mother), as the whole reverentially calls her; revealed to Hanuman the true nature of Rama. Here, the Sri Rama Hridayam is bestowed by Sri Rama himself. This is one of the most singularly recherché moments in the universal game (Leela) played by Rama; akin to the Vishwaroopam status revealed to Arjuna by Sri Krishna on the physical level, here Sri Rama is unveiling the conclusive truth about himself that covers everything that is knowable as well as unknowable to Hanuman.
Modern physicists have been searching for a “theory of everything” and the “grand unified theory” that explains everything about everything that exists. I give example of Physics because this universe is primary seen from the Physical aspect by modern Science. However, the ancient Mystics from India had always known the universe to be much more than just Physical. Here we find in Sri Rama, the embodiment of existence itself; unfolding the deepest esoteric secrets about itself.
Sri Rama looked at Hanuman sitting on one knee with folded hands, bent head, just waiting. Waiting for existence to flow through him and embrace him to the great confluence of Rama’s divinity uniting him to the absolute grace and benevolence that can come only from a divine Avatara;
Sri Rama started imparting the Mantra, “I shall reveal to you the truth about Atma (Soul), Anatma (Non-soul) and Paramatma (Transcendent Soul).”
