How to find your lost Android device – Even if it’s in silent mode

Android has a lot of useful features. It is an advantage to have access to your phone when you misplaced it. Most of us have a habit of misplacing our phone. Some of us recollect where we’ve kept it and others don’t. It is really a pain finding your phone when it’s lost or misplaced. It is even painful if it is in silent mode. We have all been there. But, only a few know that it is very easy to find an Android device, when it is misplaced or lost.

You can find your Android device in a few steps:

1. Login to your Google account on your computer.
2. Click the menu icon on the top right corner.
3. Slect Play store.
4. Click on the settings/gear icon on the right side from the play store.
5. Select Android Device Manager.
6. You’ll be asked to re-enter the Google account password.
7. Once you do it, you’ll see the below screen.

You can choose any of the available options.

• Click on the location icon to locate your device.
• If you click on Ring, your phone will ring even if it’s in Silent mode.
• You can even change the password of the phone by selecting Lock option.
• If you feel your phone is stolen, you can erase all the data from your phone using the Erase option.
