Readoo does everything with a reason. We started the website a year ago to help people express their feelings/opinions in the form of words. This time, we went one step forward by introducing yet another form of expression to the readers; that is photography. Dristikon’ 16 mainly aimed to get the budding photographers and photo enthusiasts to mainstream and to provide an opportunity for them to exhibit their talent to the world. The contest was a big success. In the previous article, we introduced our winner Pratheek Punchathody(Read here). In this article we are introducing to you, two more talented photographers, Karthik Prabhakar and Vinay Saya, the 1st runner up and 2nd runner up of the contest respectively.
Karthik Prabhakar
Karthik Bharadwaj is a civil engineer by profession. He works as a highway design Engineer for L&T in Mumbai. He is a travel freak and a enthusiast traveler who goes out exploring places on every second and fourth weekend. He started photography two years back. He is a quick learner who has learnt a lot in these two years. A lot of photography blogs for expert guidance and solutions and good observation skills have made him one of the best travel photographers to look at. His regions of interest are landscape photography, travel photography and night life photography. Time lapse is his next interest and he is currently exploring it with great vigor.

Vinay Saya
Vinay Saya works as the senior art director in a prestigious and a much sought after firm. A Bachelor of Visual, Commercial and Advertising Art from the University College of Fine Arts, Davangere, Vinay is an accomplished Art Director. Driven by the hunger for creative excellence, he constantly strives to deliver path-breaking creative concepts. Strong conceptual thinking, knowledge of design disciplines including layout, typography, imagery & colour and an eye for detail are his strengths. A fine team player, he has worked on a wide array of brands and has bagged many creative awards.Nowadays, the interest that is keeping him busy is his iPhone photography. And in his spare time he loves penning abstract poems in Kannada.
