From the group 1, teams West Indies and England have already qualified for the semis.
Though the New Zealand confirmed their spot into the semis from group 2, another team that qualifies to the semis depends on the result of today’s match, India vs Australia. With equal points(4) and higher net run rate, the Australian team is in second place and India is at third place at the point tables of group 2. However, the high voltage match between the two will decide the team that takes West Indies in the semi-finals.
The similarities between the two teams are that both lost against New Zealand and won against Pakistan and Bangladesh and learned a lot from their previous matches. To mention a few, players to watch out are Kohli, Raina, Yuvi, openers and spinners for India and Warner, Maxwell, Watson, openers and spinners for Australia. Not to forget the captains of both teams.
Expecting a change in the top order for both teams and a fantastic game spirit fight between the two. As always the toss will play its role in the match. Heart says and prays for India. But as its cricket and anything can happen till it actually gets over. So let’s see..!
