Breaking: BEEF smuggled using Government Bus caught in Kodagu

Kodagu the Kashmir of Karnataka seems to be going on the footsteps of Kashmir of India. After the Tippu riots, Kodagu has been the epicenter of communal tension. While the state government of Karnataka busy pleasing the minority communities for their vote bank Kodagu has been witnessing drastic changes in terms of communal harmony.

A few days back SDPI president Aamin Moshin had challenged Hindu organizations stating he would open a beef stall in Kodagu following which today a racket involved in beef smuggling was busted in Kodagu by Hindu organizations and local police at the Madikeri government bus stand.

The cops were stunned when they learned the mode of operandi. The smugglers used government buses to run the racket. The beef was transported using Government bus belonging to Mandya depot and little space was hired by these smugglers at the luggage room when members of Hindu organizations who were waiting to board buses saw blood oozing out of the luggage parcel they immediately questioned one the smuggler who had come to collect it. The smuggler tried to fled away however he was caught and handed over to local police for further investigation. It’s is really shocking to know how these men are smuggling beef using government buses, it only shows how unstable the law and order in the state is said a Hindu organization member.

Police are now investigating to see how widely beef smuggling racket has spread and the people involved
