Chrome’s Data save mode on Android:
The New feature “Data Saver” mode will compress the Image and Text so that you can save 60% of data and even user can get the content loaded in less time. Areas, where the user has slow connectivity Data Saver, will automatically optimize HTTP websites to their essentials. Similar technology is applied to watching videos on chrome in MP4 format, which can save up to 138 TB of data in the single week just in India.
How to turn on Data Saver: Open Chrome App – Touch Three dot icon – Settings – Advanced – Data saver – on the settings.
Offline Feature:
Google is presently allowing us to play a Dinosaur game when the user is offline. It’s improved now, the user has a feature to save Images, Videos and also save complete web pages. Big video files can also be saved easily since the video will be paused on disconnecting the internet and again starts downloading video on getting connected. The option is similar to save offline in YouTube app and presently only available on Chrome Beta version.
