This has been the most anticipated event in recent times. Indians were waiting for the biggest internet revolution to happen. And today, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has given us the insights about his company Jio’s 4G services at the company’s annual general meeting (AGM). Ambani called the Jio 4G LTE network largest in the world.
Here are key highlights from his address to the shareholders.
1. The Jio Services including voice, apps, 4G services will be available for free for EVERYONE from September 5th to December 31 2016.
2. Jio customers will never have to pay for VOICE CALL or ROAMING ever!
3. The base rate will be 1/10 of other providers i.e., Rs 50/GB. Check the unbelievable data plans introduced by Jio below.
4. Jio’s app booking, worth Rs 15,000 for an annual subscription, will be available free for all active Jio customers till December 31, 2017.
5. Reliance Jio to offer free services till December 2016.

7. RelianceJio is not only 4G supported but also 5G and 6G ready.
8. Reliance Jio is now ready for the Aadhar-based eKYC or paperless CAF to issue Jio SIM cards.
9. No festival black out days like other service providers. When you need to send a message on Diwali (or other holidays) operators charge double the rate.” Not on Jio.
10. If you’re a student, a valid student ID card will get you 25% more data on Jio tariffs.
