It’s been time, since Google contact received any notable update. Now, finally, they have come up with an update which has features like Improved Labels and Duplicate contact removing the feature.
In the above screenshot, one can notice the improvements, it was just all and favourite which is now improved with Contacts, Duplicates, Labels, Accounts followed by Settings and help & Feedback. The user can access this just by tapping on the hamburger button on the left corner of the Google Contact app.
Contacts: Display all your contacts saved in the smartphones.
Duplicates: This feature is already available in the web app which helps to identify the duplicate contacts. This feature will help to merge contacts which are duplicate due to sync option from WhatsApp contacts and email contacts.
Labels: Even this feature is already available in the web app. It helps to organize the contacts in the form of groups such as Family, Business, Facebook, Friends. Using create button you can add Labels to already existing contact labels.
Accounts: User can see all the mail ids which are linked to your device. This feature helps to switch from one mail id to another which can help the user to manage multiple accounts on the go.
How to get the new features:
New features are about to push via Google contact app update, another way to get the feature is to download apk file from other sources and install the app. Google Contact 1.5.16 apk can easily downloaded from the web and get it installed on your device.
