Now, after the poor sales in India, price of the iPhone 6S has been dropped.
The Rose Gold (Pink!) variant of the iPhone 6S 16 GB model costs 49,400 Rs./- in Amazon.in, which is almost 12K less than the launch price. Similarly, the other variants of the phone too, have got reasonable price cuts. So, now is the good time to get an iPhone if you’re in India. Although we expect the price to drop even further in the near future.
Recently the iPhone 5S also got a huge price cut and it is now being sold at 21,499 Rs./- in India, to compete with the mid-range smartphones. Apple seems to be pushing their older devices in India with an intention of increasing sales in the country, after their disappointing sales last year. The most valuable brand in the world is struggling in India ao much that, it is not even in the top five smartphone brands in terms sales in the country. So, Apple is working towards improving that by reducing the price of their previous generation smartphones in India. After all, India is only next to China in terms of smartphone users. India is considered to be most emerging smartphone market in the world.
