OnePlus may be a new player in the industry, but one can’t deny the fact that, they have proved to make it to the big stage. Their first device the OnePlus One was a successful and critically well-acclaimed device. The OnePlus Two is also selling so well in India and other countries. And their recent budget entry the OnePlus X is a killer phone for the price range.
So, every phone they make is good, in fact, they have much better specs for the price than other phones in the industry. Having all that said, getting an invite to buy the phone is crazier than getting a train ticket in a railway station ticket counter in India. If you find someone nice enough to help, you may get one. Else you stand in the queue or end up waiting for the next train!
The invite system is so bad that most of the people bought some other phone, rather than waiting for a hopeless invite. While some may find it a very good marketing strategy, most people find it annoying. Why not? You pay your money and they are just another smartphone company in the ocean. Period.
