Google says Chrome is an “Operating system”; we just use it as Web-browser. In real-time Google chrome has many features that can prove it more than a Web-browser. Some of the chrome features can help us to reduce the time of work and increase our work efficiency. I have brought you some unique features of Google Chrome that you may not have used till now.
Calculator:
For many of us, there will be need of calculator at any time of browsing. Google Chrome can be used as a basic calculator. As you all know we have Omni box or popularly called search box where we enter the website address or URL’s.It’s space where we can start calculating simple arithmetic factions as shown in below image.
Unit Converter:
Similar to calculator we can use Google Chrome as a Unit converter. Start entering the conversion units like “1KM=” and possible conversion show in the search result.
Notepad:
Several times during browsing we have need of Notepad, for writing a phone number or some reminders. Just copy “data: text/HTML, <html contenteditable>” and paste in the search box, Google Chrome will modify current tab as notepad
Its better make it as bookmark and it will help when you want it to use in future.
Play Game:
Usually, when you are offline, open Google chrome, it wishes you with message saying “unable to connect to the internet” along with dinosaur image just above the message. This dinosaur image indicates that “without internet you are in dinosaur age”.
Don’t be bored, just chill and press Space Bar if you are using PC or Laptop and touch screen if you are using Android or any touch screen devices, dinosaur starts moving. Each time you press space or touch screen animal will start jumping. Your duty is to save it from obstacle on its way.
