Breaking : Ex Home minister K J George resigns as Madikeri Court Orders to File a FIR Immediately

Local Court in Madikeri asked the government of Karnataka and the police department to immediately file FIR on K J George, Pranab Mohanthy, A M Prasad. The plea was filed by M K Ganapathi’s son Nehal against the government and police department for not registering the FIR and trying to cover up the law. Amruth Sommaiah was supposed to take up the case and fight for M K Ganapathi’s family however in a curious development that happened over night senior and a prominent lawyer M T Nanaiah took up the case and argued in the court today. The court heard the hearing today at Madikeri and immediately ordered to file the FIR.

This massive development came as a surprise to the government of Karnataka which otherwise was busy covering up the issue, The court papers should reach the government by tomorrow.  While all this happened the government of Karnataka ordered for an immediate meeting with all the congress MLAs and legal advisors. CM of Karnataka reacted to media stating he would consult his lawyers to see how they can go ahead with court order legally. However, K J George was left with little choice and offered his resignation as few ministers within the government were really unhappy with the way CM Siddaramaiah risked the parties image to save K J George.

While all this unfolded the protests and public outrage against the government has doubled and this verdict has come as an immense joy for all those demanding justice for M K Ganapathi. This only proves no one is above the Law of the Land.
