Is Indian Army a Soft Target For Intellectuals and Certain Media?

With every political party, media and the self-proclaimed intellectuals bashing the Indian army and the defense minister for using  Pellet Guns in the Kashmir valley after clashes with armed forces post-Burhan Wani’s encounter on July 8th only exposes the level to which the media and certain politicians parties are misleading Indians. The clash that broke out in Kashmir after terrorist Burhan Wani was encountered by Indian armed forces was felicitated by the separatist and anti-India elements. Lakhs of sympathizer of terrorist Burhan took to the street with stones and petrol bomb to throw at Indian soldiers against the encounter of Burhan.

While the entire country debated about the use of pellet after a total of 1,018 incidents of violence were reported during this period for which 1,030 FIRs were registered in different police stations of the valley, no one really spoke about 3300 security personnel who were injured and 2 J&K police who were killed in the violence. Though 52  young Kashmiris  have lost their lives, more than 5000 have got injured and more than 1000 have been arrested for violence. How do you expect the security personals to control the mob in lakhs when their sole intention is to kill the army personnel.

This is not a protest in Delhi or Mumbai this is a protest against the nation and I hope these intellectuals understand the difference. 29 installations including police stations, police posts, and other government establishments were set ablaze and 51 damaged and Pakistan flags were raised by the people. Are the J&K police and Indian army personals supposed to hold lathis and push the protesters back? Political parties stop compromising the national interest to please a certain section of people for vote banks.

If India is a democratic country, if India is one of the world’s fastest growing economy, if India is a secular country and if India is one of the best places to live in its all because of those brave men guarding our borders to protect the anti-Indian activities. Blaming these men for doing their job will only demotivate them and like I always say “The day these brave men go down we all go down we all go down with them” Next time you make any nasty remark on Indian armed forces and criticize them kindly understand you have this privilege to do so because it’s these men who are gifting us the freedom of expression unlike in other countries.
