Malala Yousafzai popularly known to the world after she was featured in one of the documentaries shot at Swat valley in Pakistan province by BBC. Then Swat was occupied by Taliban and a strict imposition was implied on women rights and Malala spoke on the importance of women education after which Taliban terrorist shot her on the head. However, many people from Pakistan claimed she was not shot and I would not want to write more on that bit since I cannot claim the legitimacy of the news. Malala then escaped from Pakistan and now lives in Birmingham, United Kingdom and runs an NGO.
Her recent remark on Kashmir issue only proves how ignorant and ill-informed the noble price winner is. For me, Malala Yousafzai and her Nobel award is an absolute joke. Before she makes a remark on Kashmir she needs to understand certain facts and figures and she needs to concentrate on how she can voice a logical opinion. Basically from Pakistan and living in United Kingdom Malala Yousafzai needs to understand that 56 terrorist organization operate from Pakistan, 10 worlds most wanted criminals are sheltered in Pakistan, Pakistan is responsible for the biggest human genocide in the modern world (Baloch Genocide), Osama bin Laden was found living a lavish life in Pakistan, The child trafficking is highest in Pakistan, 6 in every 10 people living in Pakistan are below poverty line. 4 in every 10 people in Pakistan are addicted to drugs and Pakistan is the hub for drug peddlers. Democracy is an absolute joke in ISI ruled Pakistan. Only 87% of Pakistani children finish primary school education and the literacy rate is at its lowest. While Women and children’s are raped and murdered in Baluchistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir everyday Malala has no moral rights to speak about the issue of Kashmir, she needs to get her facts right since it is her own country which is sponsoring terrorists in Kashmir and has led to the unrest in the valley.
When her own country is rattled by enough and more problems she chooses to live in United Kingdom, She doesn’t address the genocide of Christians and Hindu community in Pakistan, She doesn’t voice about the drug menace and quality of living in her own country but her choice to make a statement on hot topic such as Kashmir issue only proves her hypocrisy and an intention to gain more limelight. She is an overnight celebrity now and she is living up to it. Hence Indian media should reframe from publishing news and statement made by such personalities. Then her struggle with Taliban was for survival and now it is for publicity.
