Prime Minister Modi while addressing the G 20 Summit in China on the last session of the summit issued a direct warning to Pakistan.
In the most direct attack PM, Modi said “There are some nations that use terrorism as an instrument of state policy,” he said. “Indeed one single nation in South Asia is spreading these agents of terror in countries of our region.”
He also added, “those who sponsor and support terrorism must be isolated and sanctioned, not rewarded.” “For us, a terrorist is a terrorist”, “India has a policy of zero tolerance to terrorism because anything less than that is not enough.” He also emphasizes on the fact how Pakistan has become a global problem and it is the need of the hour for the world to look at this mess created by a terrorist sponsoring nation like Pakistan.
Modi also raised concerns about terrorism in an informal BRICS meet yesterday, warning China for shielding Pakistan in economic and military co-operation. The final document in G20 summit said “will tackle all sources, techniques, and channels of terrorist financing” and remains “committed to effectively exchanging information, freezing terrorist assets, and criminalising terrorist financing”.
Following PM Modi’s warning to Pakistan, Baloch activists have now decided to raise the issue of Baloch Genocides at the UN headquarters in NewYork. Pakistan is now facing tough questions on terrorism and genocide in Baloch area and this move from the Baloch has only motivated the Gilgit activist to intensify their agitation to demand a separate nation. Modi’s strategy towards Pakistan is well planned to show the two theory nation their place. Pakistan is ideally not a nation, it only captured Balochistan and have forcefully integrated it on their map. If the struggle for the formation of Balochistan intensifies Pakistan would never remain a country in the first place. India for the first time has pushed Pakistan on back foot pertaining to the Kashmir issue by racking up the Baloch genocide and the plead of the separate nation of Pakistan occupied Kashmir. This only shows Modi is playing his cards right to decimate Pakistan once for all.
