Rafale is a Beast and it will change the way world looks at Indian defense

When the newly acquired Rafale fighter jets roar over the sky on Indian continent it would only send shivers down my spine for its enemies, especially  for Pakistan after its relation has hit an all-time low with the mighty India. The might of Indian Airforce would increase in the Asian region with this acquisition. Rafale is a  game changer machine for any army. This beast can unleash its power at any altitude or terrain. This multi-role fighter features some of the very latest avionics systems. When I call this man’s wonder a beast I mean it, because Rafale is one among the very few aircraft which can track 40 targets and fire at four targets simultaneously even when Jammers are active. This 21st century 4th generation aircraft is a brute and one of the best assault machines in its segment. Many defense analysts may not agree with me when I say this is the BEST in its segment but Let me now try to put some numbers and facts into place to justify why this man’s wonder is a game changer for Indian air force.

Compared to the average Fighter Plane, which has a maximum range of 870 nautical miles, the Dassault Rafale Can fly 1,131 nautical miles farther which is approximately 2094.61 miles. Unlike other planes, which need a dedicated tanker plane to refuel mid-air, two RAFALEs can share fuel mid-air for limited periods.

Compared to the average Fighter Plane, which can climb at a rate of 5,020 feet per minute, the Dassault Rafale Can climb 54,980 more feet per minute this only means it can reach its enemy nation even before they prepare for the surprise.

Compared to the average Fighter Plane, which can reach a maximum altitude of 41,830 ft, the Dassault Rafale Can cruise 8,170 ft higher which basically means Pakistani land missiles cannot even target Rafale with easy, The question of bringing down this fighter firing missiles from land doesn’t arise. Recent use of Rafale by France while bombing ISIS at Syria only shows it capability.

Compared to the average Fighter Plane, which cruises at 456 knots (524 mph) to maximize range and can cruise at a maximum speed of 325 knots (374 mph), the Dassault Rafale can cruise at 750 knots which is 1389 kilometers per hour which means if Rafale takes off from New Delhi to Islamabad, it can bomb Islamabad in 27 minutes and land back in Delhi.

Rafale can take off and land effectively from any aircraft carrier since it needs only 1,300 ft of runway and land with 1,450 ft

Rafale outputs 17000 lbf of thrust per engine and 34000 lbf in total making it one of the most powerful aircraft in its segment. Rafale can fight with a maximum payload of 17,637 lbs, now that’s something the enemy should really worry about, this beast has a capacity of carrying enough and more missiles to decimate the enemy.

Rafale can hold 3,150 gallons of fuel enough to target almost all Asian countries from Indian airbase. I cannot stop praising this Machine, it can do more than one would ever imagine. This monstrous machine can carry our air defense, reconnaissance, nuclear deterrence, anti-ship, air-to-ground, and air superiority. Rafale fighter jet can do data sharing and day-and-night operations with precision. Rafale could be embedded with MICA Beyond Visual Range missile, air-to-ground HAMMER,SCALP missile AM39 EXOCET anti-ship missile, laser guided bombs. India and France have signed the much-awaited Rafale deal for 36 fighter jets worth 7.8 billion euros. This is India’s first fighter jet deal in the last 36 years. I would like to also give some credit for Modi government for making some sensible and cost-saving deal. Meteor & Scalp, super lethal missiles comes along with the deal. free training for IAF personnel, French guarantees for performance-based logistics support, 6 months of free weapons storage without charge. Having read about Rafale you will certainly agree this man made machine can prove fatal for any enemy and with its induction into Indian defense forces. India is taking another step towards becoming a dominant power in the Asian region.
