Akshay Kumar, who has done realistic and patriotic films like ‘Special 26’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Baby’ in the recent past, will be seen in yet another thrilling fare, which is based on a real-life incident. The film is named Airlift, which stars Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in the lead roles.
The actor today released the teaser of the film in his Facebook page. The film is about India’s biggest air evacuation from the foreign soil, which happened in 1990 in Kuwait. About 1,70,000 members were airlifted from Kuwait to India when Iraq invaded Kuwait.
The teaser looks absolutely brilliant, especially, the scene where a man is seen raising the national flag will give goosebumps. The Airlift Film is getting released on 22 January, 2016. Safe to assume that it is going to be a Blockbuster.
