Journalism was a beautiful profession until few media began to sow hatred among communities in the name of journalism. India has few media operating exclusively to please a certain section of the society. Their journalism revolves around communal disharmony and they could go to any extent to create news which in reality don’t exist. Though we don’t really call them media because of their low level journalism one must note that such media in majority is anti-Hindu and anti BJP.
Times of India has always been biased towards Hindu community and all right-wing organisations, the choice of words on every news they carry clearly explains their intentions. Addressing terrorists as rebels, not respecting the martyrdom of soldiers are just a few examples to expose their hypocrisy. Readoo India has in the past exposed many such biased media and we will continue to expose them in future as well. Times of India dated 12th August 2016 carried an article which stated-
“Union textiles minister Smriti Irani may lead the BJP’s Tiranga Yatra in Bengaluru on August 15, three days before she sets foot in the world’s highest battlefield at Siachen to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with soldiers.”
They went on to say “The BJP is also considering an event in Srirangaptana in Mandya district to celebrate the contribution of Tipu Sultan in the freedom struggle. “We do not endorse Tipu’s conversion policy but his contribution to the freedom struggle will be hailed and remembered. We plan to visit Srirangapatna with our leaders to celebrate Independence Day,” said state general secretary CT Ravi.”
This article went viral on social media and didn’t go down with the right wing groups. When Readoo India questioned RSS about their stand on glorifying a religious fanatic Tippu RSS spokesperson seems upset and said they have no information on this.
Readoo India team immediately contacted CT Ravi to confirm why was BJP glorifying Tippu when it was the same BJP which stood against the birthday celebration of such fanatic, the minister was stunned after learning Times of India had carried a false news against him and BJP. C T Ravi confirmed Readoo India he had not made any such statement neither him or BJP has ever planned or told any media about organising an event pertaining to Tippu and his contribution. C T Ravi told Readoo he would take this issue legally and ensure media doesn’t publish such fake news to create miss understanding in the society. C T Ravi further tweeted the same on his Twitter account to clarify and expose Times of India.
