Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has a special knack when it comes to inserting himself in every political issue. The NDA govt had earlier enforced a 1 day ban on NDTV for its reporting of Pathankot terror operations which helped the terrorists. This decision has caused a stir in the journalism circles. Finding an opportunity in this issue, Mr. Kejriwal has vented out his hatred towards Modi govt.
Till recently, Arvind Kejriwal was branding the whole media as sell out to Narendra Modi. Soon, after the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting decision, Kejriwal tweeted like a troll as below,
सुन लो सारे चैनल वालों। अगर मोदी जी की आरती नहीं उतारी तो आपका चैनल भी बंद कर देंगे। https://t.co/IWqyaNSvFX

He then went on retweeting every anti-Modi tweets on this subject. Today he urged that the whole media should go off air in solidarity with the NDTV.
I hope the whole media goes off air for a day in solidarity wid NDTV. https://t.co/rjHAk1Z53a

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has directed NDTV India to go off air for 24 hours from the midnight of 8-9 November for allegedly breaching broadcast norms in its coverage of the attack on an Indian Air Force base in Punjab in January.
