CPM started Jana Jagratha Yathra to counter Kerala BJP’s historical performance of Jana Raksha Yatra. But Jana Jagratha Yathra led by CPIM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan creates many controversies in its early days itself. He used imported Mini Cooper car in his Kozhikode rally. Though he is a communist leader, its ok to use whatever car he wants. But he used a car of a notorious gold smuggler Faisal Karat. There are many police cases including DRI & cofeposa filed against him on smuggling gold, that too around 2,000kgs. While BJP state General secretary K Surendran highlighted Faisal’s presence in the Yatra, CPIM Kozhikode secretary defended Faisal and said there is no police cases against Faisal. But they changed their stand after Surendran released more details against him. Now Kodiyeri Balakrishnan says “ Party will inquire this case & take necessary steps”. Faisal & team arranged a delicious lunch also to State Secretary, which includes Pepsi, Chicken Biriyani, Kababs etc. Remembering Plachimada here, where CPIM led many protests on Pepsi Cola! Luxurious lifestyles of communist leaders are common now, but their deals with smugglers, terrorists & corporates create unhappy among their Hindu activists. The Recent arrest of five IS terrorists from communist dominated Kannur, communist support to Love Jihad accused etc are made huge depression among their workers. They are already very much disappointed with state government’s minority appeasement stands.

While CPIM Yatra moving from controversy to controversy, see how BJP did Jana Raksha Yatra in a state whether they don’t have much support. BJP leaders & ministers walked among the public crowd, they visited families of victims of Marxist brutality, talked to local leaders & inspired them in all the ways. They successfully exhibited how left terror & Jihadi terror impact in Kerala society. Entire nation discussed these points along with Kerala BJP. Presence of BJP National President Amit Shah, chief Ministers, central Ministers & other national leaders did attract national media and other regional media to Kerala.
