What is it? This is not the first place where you have heard of the new “Undo Send” email feature from the Search Engine giant “Google”. If you still haven’t, then, the “Undo Send” feature will help you cancel the sent email or it will delay the email for a certain amount of time.
Why is it required? Well, we all do mistakes, especially spelling mistakes. Sometimes you just wish that you didn’t send that email. Or you just feel, you could have done a better job. Well, thanks to Google. After 7 years of testing in beta, they have finally released the feature and here we are.
How to Enable it? If you’re logged into your Gmail account, navigate to the “Settings (Gear icon)” menu on the top right cornor and click on “Settings” option.
Scroll down a little bit, and you’ll find the “Enable Undo Send” checkbox.
Set the “Send cancellation period” according to your convenience (i.e, 10, 20, 30 seconds).
Click on “Save Changes” button, and you’re good to go.
As of now, it’s only 30 seconds max. However, something is better than nothing, isn’t it? So, now you can make all those changes you wanted to, but within 30 seconds!!!
